Costa Rica international airport
There are two major airports in Costa Rica, two major international airports where planes land on a daily basis, both regular flights as well as charter flights. The main international airport called Juan Santamaria is located in San Jose city, in its outskirts near Alajuela city. This airport is the ideal one for people interested in seeing all of Costa Rica, from the Caribbean to the northern plains, the Central Pacific Coast and the South Pacific Coast. The Juan Santamaria also connects with many local flights and domestic airline departures and schedules flying to the rest of smaller airstrips located in more than 8 destinations in Costa Rica. The other international airport, Daniel Oduber, is located near the city of Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste. This airport is ideal for people interested in weekly beach vacations in one of the many beaches in Guanacaste.
