Cahuita Costa Rica
Located in the province of Limon, along the South Caribbean Coast, Cahuita comprises a series of unparalleled beaches ox extreme natural and scenic beauty. There is Playa Negra, located north of Cahuita, which is a perfect beach for surfing. It is less visited than other areas in the region and therefore every attractive. Between Playa Negra and the National Park, there are many little coves and smaller bays, all of them perfect for bathing or snorkeling along the rocks. Within the national park of Cahuita, there is the main Cahuita beach starting at the main park entrance and it stretched until the Punta Cahuita poin. This beach is absolutely stunning, with palm trees, clear water and light brown sand, tropical rainforests and occasional creeks and smaller estuaries. After the point is Punta Vargas, which is a strip of white sand beach, rainforests, jungles and palm trees that stretches again for another 2 miles south, towards Playa Negra de Puerto Viejo. Punta Vargas has its own entrance in case you do not wish to walk the 6 kilometers from Cahuita.
