Golfo Dulce Costa Rica
The Golfo Dulce is a region located in the South Pacific of Costa Rica, between Golfito and the Osa Peninsula. The Golfo Dulce is a tropical fjord, a very important habitat inhabited by endangered species, including marine species, dolphins, fish and other creatures as well as numerous species that life in the tropical forests around its shores. To explore the Golfo Dulce, the best way is by boat, arriving in Golfito, and from there by boat along the vast coastline and through its calm waters. Around the Gulf there are several hotels, hostels and other accommodation options, some oceanfront rainforest lodges surrounded by endless rainforests. You can also stay in Golfito, a town and seaside community located on the Golfo Dulce. Golfito has its own airstrip. The Golfo Dulce is a region that is not yet as famous as Corcovado National Park and the Osa Peninsula, however, it is perhaps equally important in terms of flora and fauna that inhabit the area. We highly recommend it to people looking for authentic destinations and for those seeking adventure and nature.
