DAY 1: Arrive in San Jose Airport. Meeting at the airport and transfer to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight in San Jose.

DAY 2: Breakfasts. Early morning boat canal tour and around 9 , departure towards Arenal Volcano. Afternoon arrival and check in. Tour to the volcano and hot water springs with dinner included. Overnight in Arenal.

TOUR 1
Caño Negro

The wildlife reserve Caño Negro is one of the most important reserves for incredible bird watching and observation of wildlife in Costa Rica.  Caño Negro is also home for many sloths, monkeys, caimans, bats as well as numerous tropical plants. After a welcome drink and a snack, we slowly and silently cruise to this exceptional national refuge in our comfortable boat where you can enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna. Upon return you will be served a typical, delicious lunch in the restaurant “El Caiman” which is nicely placed on the riverbank of “Rio Frio”.

Arenal Hanging Bridges

Arenal Hanging Bridges is a new tourism attraction in La Fortuna, only 4 km (2.5 miles) west of Tabacón within a 250 hectare (618 acre) reserve of primary forest. Visitor who love nature can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, friendly design along 3 km rain forest circuit of interpretive trails built with paving blocks to prevent slipping. The bridges are build of aluminum, galvanized steel and concrete, to ensure maximum security for their visitors. They were designed by structural engineers with the most demanding safety margins in the world.  Guided by a naturalist, who through the natural history will open for you the doors of a fascinating and colorful  Tropical Rain Forest world. The imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.

DAY 4: Departure towards Monteverde with the JEEP BOAT JEEP tour.

This service is what we recommend to your clients as a faster and more efficient transportation method from Arenal to Monteverde. Clients are picked up on 4x4 cars from hotels around Arenal, they are then taken to the shores of the lake, a boat picks them up and crosses them to the other side of the lake, where another 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for them to take them to the Heliconia Ranch. Once there a short 10 minute stop occurs and clients will have the chance to use toilets and receive a complementary cup of coffee to then be transferred to their respective hotels if they are on our route. This service departs from Arenal a Monteverde. Pick up time in Fortuna: 7:30 AM. Pick up time in Monteverde 7:00 AM
CHILD POLICY: Children 8 years and older pay full rate, children between 4-7 years get a 50% discount, children under 3 go for free.

Night Tour


A walk that starts at dusk! Its purpose is experience along with a guide of the life of the forest during the change between day and night, some species will be returning to their homes and others will be actually starting their activity cycle and feeding. Also if the weather favors clients will enjoy of an spectacular sunset that will provide marvelous photographs and will help visitors appreciate the beauty of our area. Tour duration approx. 2 hours // Children under 5 go for free.
Tour time: 5:30 PM.
Overnight in Monteverde.

Sky Walk - Learn in the cloud forest

Sky Walk is a guided tour, which combines trails and suspension bridges with lengths of even 984 feet and heights above the canopy of Monteverde cloud forest. The tour gives you the opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of the area, always joined by one of our specialized guides. The tour lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. Sky Walk reunites all the conditions of security and confidence. The bridges have been adapted even for people with some disability. Departure schedules: 8:00 a.m - 10.00 a.m - 1:00 p.m

Sky Trek

Zip through nature. Sky Trek is a system of zip lines ranging from mountain to mountain, which together have a distance of 2.5 miles of linear cable. The tour gives you the opportunity to fly through a cable and have a unique experience of adventure and adrenaline at speeds up to 40 miles per hour with distances ranging up to 2500 feet and heights of 524 feet. In addition the tour offers 5 observation towers that exceed the cloud forest treetops providing a panoramic view. All with total security and in an innovative braking system.The tour starts with the Sky Tram that will lead you up to the Continental Divide. General conditions:
-For security children under 8 years old cannot take the tour.
-Sky Trek is a complementary tour of Sky Tram it can’t be sold separately.
-People over 100 kilograms weight (217 pounds) most be evaluated by our technical staff (according to his/her height and physical condition) our staff will determine if they can take the tour. Departure schedules: 7:30 a.m - 9.30 a.m - 11:30, 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
After the tour, departure towards Manuel Antonio Beaches and National Park. Arrival, evening at leisure and overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Naranjo River White Water Rafting

Description
Transportation provided by your tour operator will pick you up from your hotel and drive 40 minutes to Londres where the river put in is located.  During the scenic drive your guide will explain some of the history of the town of Quepos.  Upon reaching the private property where the put in is located you will be ready to start off on your Manuel Antonio tour.  This property features stables, corrals, ATVs, an open air waiting area and bathrooms.  You guide will give you some safety measurements to follow and then you are off to tame the rapids of Naranjo River.  The rafts are built to hold a maximum of 6 passengers.  Guides will accompany you down stream in kayaks to ensure your safety.  Naranjo River flows through mountains, jungle gorges, farmlands and palm plantations.  The river’s course is steep and challenging, perfect for adventure seekers in search of an adrenaline rush.  Halfway through the course you can take advantage of the pit stop to catch your breath and admire the view.  Towards the end of the river, the waters calm down and you can take in the sights while cruising over the last few rapids.  Upon completing the 1 hour and 45 minute portion of this Manuel Antonio tour you will be served a tasty lunch made with fresh local ingredients.  Transportation back to your hotel will be provided by your tour operator.  This Manuel Antonio tour is only available in rainy season (May to December).  This river boasts class 3 rapids all year long, during rainy season it also boasts some class 4 rapids.  Participants must be at least 8 years old. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

DAY 7: Breakfasts. Departure towards San Jose. Afternoon arrival, check in and overnight in San Jose.

DAY 8: Departure transfer to the international airport Juan SantaMaria.
