In 1996, Natural
Lodge Cano Negro began their operations
with only 10 rooms and the idea to
attract only sport fishing clientele.
Over time, our vision has changed
allowing us to take advantage of the
great potential that is the Cano Negro
Wild Life Refuge. With our new focus,
we now offer a wide variety of options
to the visitors of Costa Rica such
as: bird watching, photography, the
observation of flora and fauna, wildlife
adventure, wetlands discovery and
cultural exposure. With the additional
activities offered, arose the need
to expand our infrastructure, which
resulted in the construction of our
22 rooms, large restaurant, swimming
pool, with bar and on-site gardens,
where you can look the most impressive
birds.
With a focus on growth and natural
development, Natural Lodge Cano Negro
has created new jobs for habitants
of Cano Negro, giving them new growing
opportunities and allowing them to
learn new skills. These wonderful
people now make up our entire staff
in our Natural Loge Cano Negro, where
they offer you a customized service
that makes you feel like home. Most
of this people will explore with you
their bird watching skills in the
wetlands.
