LODGE is set on a hill about 40
m above sea level and offers a wonderful
view of the coastline of Ostional,
the mountains, the river mouth from
Rio Nosara and also over the forest,
which belongs to the Reserva Biológica
Nosara. The beautiful beach is only
a 10 minute walk away.
The property has bedrooms (holding
up to 4 people) with private bathroom,
hot water and ceiling fan. Each
room has an exceptional view to
the beach, river and the nature
reserve.
Lagarta Lodge has a terrace-restaurant
with a spectacular view. Local and
international specialities are served
for lunch and dinner.
The best sunset from Nosara can
be enjoyed from the restaurant/bar.
The Hotel is the right place for
watching birds and animals or just
for relaxing in the shadows of the
palmtrees surrounding the nice swimming
pool.

biological reserve (from aprox.
50 ha/125 acres) where you can walk
on self guided trails through the
mangroves and the forest, for observing
birds or taking photographs of the
nature and nimals.
Lagarta also provides activities,
such as tours to Ostional (turtle
nesting site), boat ride into the
Nosara River (guided), horsebackriding
in and around Nosara (from 2 hour
to half a day), surfing, etc. The
Hotel has internet-access and a
public telephone.and is under swiss-management.
English, German, French and Spanish
is spoken.
