For beach lovers, our twelve room boutique hotel on Samara Beach is uniquely situated on a one-acre private lot, approximately 1-minute’s stroll to the ocean. Our property backs to lush trees, home to howler monkeys and beautiful birds.

The Hideaway  Hotel offers 12 suites—8 with 2 Queen beds and 4 with a King bed.  Each suite features a  patio or balcony, sitting area, an extra large bathroom with beautiful granite counters, air conditioning, and hot water. Amenities include hair dryer, iron & ironing board, mini-refrigerator, clock radio & telephone. Rooms overlook our refreshing swimming pool. Two of our suites are handicap-accessible.
All rooms are non-smoking.

Begin your day with a stroll through our tropical gardens and a dip in the refreshing swimming pool, complete with a cascading fountain. Enjoy our complimentary breakfast with rich Costa Rican grown coffee. We also offer lunch & dinner in our restaurant, and drinks or appetizers at the bar.

We also offer complimentary Internet access & free local phone calls. Our front desk staff will be happy to assist you with reserving any tours that you are interested in, as well as making suggestions for activities to enjoy in and around Samara. There is so much to do, just let us know what you are interested in and we'll take care of the arrangements for you.

Complimentary breakfast is included with your room rate. Fresh tropical fruit—sweet watermelon, mango, bananas, papaya—help you start the day off right.  World-famous Costa Rican coffee wakes you up, and the traditional gallo pinto gives you energy for your day in the tropics. Choose indoor dining in our air-conditioned dining room or al fresco dining on our terrace overlooking the swimming pool, fountain & gardens.
