Hotel Lands in love - Tierras Enamoradas is an environmental and animal friendly zone. 280 acre of eco resort, located in a hidden valley in the middle of a cloud forest, as beautiful as a legend. We are 19 friends of many years, all of us originally from Israel, vegetarian and animal lovers. Few months after visiting Costa Rica, we packed all our lives (including our 30 dogs and 50 cats) and moved here.

Three months of working days and nights brought this place to the point of modern operational ecological vegetarian resort. You are welcome to feel at home, secure and relaxed, enjoying a rejuvenating experience. The resort with its unique atmosphere is a perfect path to one's integrity and inner self.

The hotel is located 75 minutes from San Jose airport, not far from the most beautiful beaches of the central pacific and the Arenal Volcano.

The hotel has a lobby lounge, bar, restaurant, swimming pool and Jacuzzi, fully equipped business center and conference room. 33 rooms (two for handicapped), secluded, cozy and private with a front porch facing the beauty of the cloud forest, near the forest trails, fast internet access (wire and wireless), telephone (free local calls and $5 charge for each unlimited time international call), cable TV, mini bar and coffee machine. Each room is designed differently and has its own unique character. Parking space is available for every room. Near the rooms 20 km of a magic trails to enjoy the flora and fauna of the true nature, giant trees,

waterfalls, lakes, over a thousand orchid species, butterflies and colorful vegetation. On the premises: orchid nursery, pet hotel and additional restaurant on the main road. Lands in love is a place for bird watchers with more than 300 different species.

In our adventure center, suitable for all the family, we are operating tours such as forest zip lines - the longest canopy system in Costa Rica (omega canopy), adventure cables, canyoning, horseback riding, forest trails and rafting. The guides are bilingual, qualified and certified by the Costa Rican ministry of tourism (I.C.T). Our tour desk provides custom made itineraries, personal escort, reservation services for tours, car rental, other hotels and attractions. The conference room has capability for thirty people and can be expanded to host up to eighty. TV, video, DVD, screen, board and a projector will supply your business meeting needs.

At the restaurant we serve a variety of vegetarian and vegan food choices from all over the world, while sharing our love to animals and our way of life. The staff is friendly and the service is personal and home like. We offer an extensive international and Israeli (kosher) menu.

The food is homemade, healthy and delicious. The menu includes American dishes, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Israeli, Japanese and more. Breakfast is rich - all you can eat style (included in the room rate). We will be happy to comply with requests for Jewish food or any special diet like sugar free (diabetics), gluten free (celiac), weight watchers, vegan, etc. we make a variety of desserts such as cakes, crepes, awesome milkshakes and petit fours.

We make our own pastries, chocolate and cheese. The milk and eggs are provided by our neighbors who raise the animals in proper conditions, they are fed on untouched clean grass and don't get hormones injections. We are building an organic vegetables nursery now.

Guests that would like to teach and cook from their own recipes are more than welcome in the kitchen. Tea and coffee are free during the day.
