Rise to tropical birdsong and the music of the rainforest. We have ten modern bungalows, handsomely equipped with either two single beds or one double bed (triple occupancy is also available upon request), private baths, hot water and terraces.

Built over a sturdy stone base and with wooded floors and a balcony, each bungalow is cozy and inviting. Your bungalow boasts unforgettable views of the forest, mountains and stars. Nature abounds. You might receive a visit from an elegant Blue Morpho butterfly, the sweet scent of wild orchids, or the song of a rare bird. As the jungle’s music awakes you, take advantage of our extensive hiking trails and embark on an early-bird nature walk, or be the first one to step aboard the Aerial Tram. Because this is an ecological project, we strongly promote environmental conservation. As such, we do not allow air conditioning. We believe in providing the best possible experience within the forest, and part of that is intimacy with nature. In order to facilitate this, we do not offer services such as televisions or telephones within the bungalows. However, we are equipped with cellular phones and radio communication from the main building, should any situation require assistance.

Location

We share the facilities and services of the Rain Forest Aerial Tram. Just outside of San José, visitors will take the highway that connects the capital city with the Caribbean coast. This scenic drive passes for 30 minutes through the heart of Braulio Carrillo National Park, offering spectacular rainforest views. Just a few miles after the park, turn right onto our private road to enter our Conservation Park and private reserve.
