Mangroves and Mangrove Forests of
Costa Rica
Mangroves grow in salt water and
fresh water in river mouths long the Pacific Coast
of Costa Rica. Mangroves create a swampy water-land
habitat that serves as home to some very interesting
animals and fish. Among these are the crocodiles,
bull shark, birds, mangrove snakes and many more.
