Arenal Volcano Tour

Join us on a trail through the rainforest below the Arenal Volcano where you have the possibility of spotting monkeys and a large variety of birds, including toucans and trogons.
We end our walk with a refreshing beverage and a magnificent view of Arenal Volcano, where, with a bit of luck, you can see the flowing lava of Costa Rica’s most active volcano.
This stunning experience is followed by a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs with pools of various water temperatures.

Arenal Hanging Bridges

Arenal Hanging Bridges is a new tourism attraction in La Fortuna, only 4 km (2.5 miles) west of Tabacón within a 250 hectare (618 acre) reserve of primary forest. Visitor who love nature can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, friendly design along 3 km rain forest circuit of interpretive trails built with paving blocks to prevent slipping. The bridges are build of aluminum, galvanized steel and concrete, to ensure maximum security for their visitors. They were designed by structural engineers with the most demanding safety margins in the world. Guided by a naturalist, who through the natural history will open for you the doors of a fascinating and colorful Tropical Rain Forest world. The imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Breakfasts. Departure towards Monteverde in a Jeep Boat Jeep treansfer. Afternoon arrival. Check in and overnight in Monteverde.

Monteverde. The cloud forest of Monteverde and Santa Elena are paradise to birdwatchers, biologists, and people looking for an ecotourism adventure in the misty cloud forests of Monteverde.
Day 5: Breakfasts. TOUR INCLUDED.Visit to the Biological Station

This “Full Day Tour” is designed for the strong walks lovers, sport people and adventurers. Pick up from hotels around the Monteverde Area start around 7:00 AM to take them to the starting point (Selvatura Park), the tour is conducted by an experienced guide knowledgeable of the area. The first rest stop will be taken at the Biological Station where you will receive a welcome explanation of the mission, vision and objectives of the Biological Station, here you will be able to use toilets and then continue on with a trek through the forest where you will get to choose between several trails such as “El Saino”, “La Catarata”, “Tabacon” and “El Congo”. Recommend for people 15 years of age or older with good physical conditions.
Overnight in Monteverde.
Day 6: Departure towards Tamarindo. Arrival and check. Overnight in Tamarindo.

Tamarindo is one of Guanacaste’s most popular beach destinations. Surrounded by the Marine Park Las Baulas,famous for sea turtles, Tamarindo offers great surfing, ecotourism and other activities. The hotel options in the area are overwhelming.

Day 7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14 Tamarindo at leisure.
