Corcovado and Osa Peninsula. The biodiversity in this region is the most diverse on earth. Secluded beaches, rivers, lagoons, rainforests, mountains hills, islands and other ecosystems are abundant. Main highlights are the Corcovado National Park and the Caño Island.
Day 3 TOUR INCLUDED.San Pedrillo Station-Corcovado National Park

San Pedrillo is the closest Corcovado National Park Ranger Station to Drake Bay, Costa Rica and the 20 minute boat ride from Drake Bay offers possible sightings of dolphins and other marine and aquatic marine life, passing an island nesting spot for the Brown Booby.
Our arrival at the beach location of the Corcovado National Park Ranger Station is a wet landing, so bring your sandals in addition to sturdier footwear for the trails through the National Park. Our bilingual naturalist guide will lead a 3 hour hike through the primary and secondary forest, locating and explaining the extensive rainforest wildlife and flora. The rich biological diversity of the Corcovado National Park is astounding, and sightings may include as many as 4 types of monkeys, as well as coatis, sloths, anteaters, and much more. Bird lovers will be enchanted by a wide variety of birds, including tanagers, flycatchers, kingfishers, manakins, trogons, crested guans, and spectacular scarlet macaws and toucans. After a lunch at the park ranger station, there is a second shorter hike to a beautiful waterfall - bring your bathing suite for a refreshing swim in the cool clear water! This full day tour starts at 7:30 am, and returns at approximately 2:30 pm. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, bug repellent, binoculars, bathing suit and most importantly hiking shoes. While hiking along the trails you'll find yourself crossing streams/rivers, in addition to traversing across slippery, sloping terrain. Sandals are not recommended for the hiking portion of the tour.

Day 4 TOUR INCLUDED. Snorkeling at Cano Island

Cano Island is located 12 nautical miles from Drake Bay. The departure for the Snorkeling Tour at Cano Island is at 7;30 am. During the scenic boat ride aboard our 24 ft PANGA boats, which lasts approximately 50 minutes, enjoy frequent sightings of dolphins, marine birds, as well as -- in season -- whales, false orcas and sea turtles. The 600 acre Cano island is a significant historical archaeological site for Costa Rica, where two of the miraculous and mysterious perfectly round spheres from the pre-Colombian era were discovered along with other historical items. Overnight in Drake Bay.
Day 5 Departure towards Manuel Antonio. Arrival and afternoon at leisure.

Manuel Antonio. Located near Quepos, the small but beautiful rainforest national park and its secluded little beaches are the second most visited highlight in the country. Beautiful beaches, rainforests and fun adventures. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park itself boasts 3 different trails that vary in grade from flat to very steep. On this Manuel Antonio tour you will be accompanied by a nature guide who is knowledgeable about everything you will see. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course approximately 2 miles long. Throughout the hike your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view. One of the highlights of this Manuel Antonio tour is that the park is home to 3 of the 4 existing monkey species in Costa Rica. Half way through the hike you will make a leisure stop at the third beach located within the national park. You will have approximately 20 minutes to rest on the beach or play among the waves if you so choose. Throughout the hike you will be able to observe sloths, birds and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies and tropical trees. The guides that accompany you on this Manuel Antonio Trip are equipped with Pentax and Suvaroski telescopes that you can use to observe wildlife and take pictures with a different perspective. Upon finishing the tour you will be provided with transportation back to your hotel. The park is closed on Mondays.

Day 7 Departure towards Arenal. Afternoon arrival. Overnight in Arenal.

Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna. The Arenal Volcano is one of the world’s most active volcanoes. It attracts thousands of visitors every year. Combined with the amazing views, the Lake of Arenal, the many hot springs and other adventure facilities in the area, the area is the most visited tourist region.

Join us on a trail through the rainforest below the Arenal Volcano where you have the possibility of spotting monkeys and a large variety of birds, including toucans and trogons.
We end our walk with a refreshing beverage and a magnificent view of Arenal Volcano, where, with a bit of luck, you can see the flowing lava of Costa Rica’s most active volcano.
This stunning experience is followed by a relaxing soak in the nearby hot springs with pools of various water temperatures.
