Tortuga Island Snorkeling Adventure Tour

At approximately 7:30 a.m. we will board our boat in Bahia Ballena. You will enjoy a relaxing cruise and watch the sea birds and jumping fish while we cruise out of the Bay on our way to Tortuga Island. You may see dolphins, whales and sea turtles along the way. We will pass a shipwreck and a magnificent rock archway carved by nature. Once you get to the island, you can snorkel and see lots of coral, a large variety of tropical fish, oysters and octopus. The flora and fauna is stunning and is nature at its best ! You can enjoy a stroll along the gorgeous white sand beaches and be able to rent kayaks and other water sport equipment. Recommendation: your camera and some money for personal needs.

The tour leaves from Tango Mar at 8:00am. At 8:45am you will get to Montezuma Village, then our driver will lead you to the first of 11 platforms, nine cables, for you to experience a unforgettable adventure, take a look at the unique wildlife & birds up in the trees. There is a so much nature to see and enjoy, and a great adventure, also!. The tour includes transportation and the canopy fee. Curu Biological Reserve and Montezuma Waterfall

We will leave Tango Mar at approximately 8:00 a.m. and use a four-wheel drive to visit the Curu Biological Reserve. This private resort is owned by a Costarican family which will guide us through some of the primary and secondary forest and explain the flora and fauna of the region. On the way to the reserve we will pause in Tambor (right) and Valle Azul which are some typical small towns of the Nicoya Peninsula and take in some of the day-to-day life of the villagers. Curu Biological Reserve is a privately owned reserve, maintained in its natural state, with selected trails to wildlife viewing areas and a private beach.Once back in Montezuma, At the village of Montezuma our guide will take you on a 30 minute hike through Primary Jungle until you reach the waterfalls where you will be able to take a refreshing dip in a natural pool. After this long hike you will be able to enjoy some of the local scenery and try some of the watering holes.Recommendation: Your camera and some money for personal needs.

Horseback Riding

This trip is great for children, beginners and people who prefer a short ride. You lead the horseback riding wherever you want on the Tango Mar property and enjoy the flora and fauna of the Tango Mar Resort.

You leave at approximately 8:30 a.m. from our stables. You ride along beaches and jungle trails and enjoy some great scenery and wildlife. This ride is suitable for all ages and all experience levels. You can make a stop in Tambor Village and enjoy a cool refreshment.

This tour offers you some of the world's best beach riding. You will ride through the Montezuma Absolute Reserve and will be able to make several stops along the way.

You leave at approximately 8:30 a.m. from our stables and will ride through jungle forests, cross rivers and valleys. You can take a refreshing swim in a natural waterfall pool. On the way back you will pass Panica Valley, Tambor and the Whale Bay Trail and can make a stop in Tambor for some refreshments. This is a tour that you will not soon forget !!
