Curu Biological Reserve and Montezuma Waterfall

We will leave Tango Mar at approximately 8:00 a.m. and use a four-wheel drive to visit the Curu Biological Reserve. This private resort is owned by a Costarican family which will guide us through some of the primary and secondary forest and explain the flora and fauna of the region. On the way to the reserve we will pause in Tambor (right) and Valle Azul which are some typical small towns of the Nicoya Peninsula and take in some of the day-to-day life of the villagers. Curu Biological Reserve is a privately owned reserve, maintained in its natural state, with selected trails to wildlife viewing areas and a private beach.Once back in Montezuma, At the village of Montezuma our guide will take you on a 30 minute hike through Primary Jungle until you reach the waterfalls where you will be able to take a refreshing dip in a natural pool.
After this long hike you will be able to enjoy some of the local scenery and try some of the watering holes.Recommendation: Your camera and some money for personal needs.
