region of Tortuguero in hopes of seeing
the giant leatherback turtles; raft the
class III rapids of the Sarapiqu, River;
view an active volcano as we relax in
hot springs; swing through the tropical
rainforest on the most incredible canopy
tour ever; ride beautiful trails to the
flanks of a volcano on an old cattle ranch;
hike to waterfalls, hot springs, and boiling
mud pots; paddle the smooth Pacific waters
in an outrigger canoe; and learn to surf
on perfect waves. This is an incredibly
fun and educational experience that all
teenagers dream of. (This trip is a "front
country" program. All accommodations
will be in hotels.)
