Marino Ballena
National Park

General information
Ballena Marine National Park protects important habitats,
as sandy beaches, rocky beaches, swamps, mangroves,
cliffs, islands, coral reefs, which represent a very
important environment for marine diversity reproduction.
The line of official boundary stones that delimitate
the inalienable public area, the restricted part of
the maritime-terrestrial area and the border of adjacent
mangroves and wetlands limit its land. An imaginary

Point’s Tombolo, Ballena Island, Tres Hermanas
and surroundings, originated at the Mouth of the Higueron
or Morete River and ending at Piñuelas Point
forms marine limit.
