Trip Report
Robert Puschendorf was
born in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1975. From an early
stage of his life, he started developing a special interest
in wildlife, both flora and fauna. After obtaining his
Bachelor and Master degree in Biology, he continued
his studies at the Universidad de Costa Rica. Soon,
he developed another special interest within biology,
the quest to find the cause of the widespread population
declines and extinction of animals around the globe,
especially amphibians.
In March 2006 he started yet another journey joining
a research project in the Northeast Coast of Australia,
an opportunity he has long expected and desired. While
living there, we asked him to send us monthly reports
about his life in Australia, including daily experiences
and trip reports within the country.
