The Tropical
Dry Forests of Costa Rica are among the last
of this type of vegetation, climate and habitat
in the world. The Tropical Dry Forests differentiates
itself from the Tropical Rainforests because
it is situated in the North Pacific Coast and
the Central Pacific Coast, The Nicoya Peninsula
and other areas, including the Islands of the
Gulf of Nicoya.
Large trees, many insects, mammals and reptiles
as well as birds live in the tropical dry forest.
