FLOATING AT COROBICI
RIVER

and a half hour on a safe raft floating down

NATIONAL PARK
In this
nature hike through the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano
National Park, we will find the bubbling mud,
steamy sulfur water ponds and fumaroles, while
we explore the 2 miles of trails in the jungle.
As we walk, our guide describes all the secrets
of the forest and keep searching for the animals
that make this park their home, such as monkeys,
toucans, agoutis, coatis among others.

GUAITIL POTTERY TOWN
Guaitil
preserves the traditions of pottery making from
the Chorotega Indians and keeps a motherhood
social model with an economy based on this activity.

styles done with essences of plants, types of
ovens made out of clay and the final polish
before their craft go out to the market.

the upper Guanacaste at the Miravalles Volcano

of the volcano. Admiring the peace of the area

The perfect
combination would be found at Buena Vista Lodge
for this experience. The first tour would be the
canopy that takes about two hours enjoying the
vegetation from a diferent site. After the canopy,
lunch will be awaiting at the lodge. The next
visit will be to the SPA were the mud pots, turkish
bath and hot springs will be perfect for your
relaxation, at this area we will spend one hour
and a half. Then after this visit we will begin

to the natural Turkish bath and a pool of thermal

clean your skin and make you feel reborn. A short
horse ride will take us from the main lodge green

in time. The Agonia Church, built in 1769 and

stores to buy the best coffee to take back home.
A stop on the different gift and souvenir shops
along the way will make this trip the best excuse

At 1200
m.a.s.l. this world famous cloud forest reserve
will be our scenery for a great hike through the
wonders of the cloud forest while our naturalist
