Casa Amigos, one of our two luxury vacation rentals, is located on the beautiful Escaleras mountainside, on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, just south of the town of Dominical.

With 2000+ sq. ft. of living space on 2 levels, Casa Amigos offers a large "wrap around" covered terrace, queen size Swiss orthopedic beds (can be separated to singles,) modern, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, color TV / DVD player, no charge local telephone service and no long-distance surcharge, and free internet access.

Our Unique Setting:

Villa Mango and Casa Amigos are set in 3½ acres of lush tropical rain forest, with breathtaking views and great privacy and security. Our 1,200 ft. (400m.) elevation ensures comfortable temperatures, and pleasant cooling breezes year-round. We're only a short drive from the town of Dominical, and many exciting activities.

From all of our spacious, well-appointed rooms and balconies, your views are of nature (toucans snacking on papaya, monkeys moving through the treetops...) and not the roofs of neighboring villas. An amazing panoramic ocean view is spread out in front of you, and you are surrounded by beautifully landscaped yet natural gardens, gentle streams with ponds and small waterfalls. Whether in our tropical gardens, on our hammocks, or lounges by the pool, you'll find many perfect places to relax!

Many Amenities:

Villa Mango and Casa Amigos are unique in the Dominical area thanks to the wonderful amenities provided to our guests. We are the only villa rental property in the area with swimming pools long enough to swim proper laps! We take great pride in doing the maximum so that our guests will feel completely comfortable... not as if they are in a commercial rental unit, but rather in their own luxurious "Home away from Home." To that end, we provide a "welcome basket" of tropical fruits and wine on your arrival, top-quality linens and plush towels, orthopedic beds imported by special order from Switzerland, fully equipped modern kitchens, free unlimited internet access, no charge local calling and no surcharge long distance phone service, any-time use of our clothes washer/dryers, and many other extras touches.

Personalized Service:

Our on-site property manager, Vickie, is available to help with suggestions and reservations for fun activities, tours, and area restaurants. Its like having your own private concierge! Vickie is originally from California, and has lived in the Dominical area since 1997. She speaks fluent Spanish (as well as English!) and can help with translation if needed. Vickie will be happy to provide many "insider" tips and suggestions to ensure that your visit is the very best, whatever your interests. Another special plus: Vickie is well known as the best masseuse in the area, and it is a real treat that she is available to provide massage services to our guests by appointment, on-site. Property caretakers, Hector and his wife Ligia, are both very conscientious and accommodating; they love to help, and take great pride in making sure that our villas are kept in top-notch condition, from spotless windows and floors, to carefully tended gardens, to sparkling-clean swimming pools.

Ever since we have opened our home to guests, we have requested our guests' suggestions, and use their candid feedback to continually improve both property and services for our guests' comfort and enjoyment.
