The Pacuare River is the best river for rafting. Its rapids start high up in the mountains of Turrialba, and it can be used for rafting all the way to Siquirres. There are many different sections, from Class 2 to Class 5. The river is frequently visited by rafters that take either the more popular 1 day tour, or the also famous 2 day overnight tour, including camping in the middle of the river.
