Drake Bay Costa Rica
Drake Bay is located in the Osa Peninsula, in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica. The region is considered to be the main gateway for tourists and scientists who want to visit the Corcovado National Park and other natural areas within the Osa Peninsula. It was named after a famous Corsair, Sir Francis Drake, who first served under England`s banner but later converted into a full pirate. This beautiful destination is an area where nature and wildlife is the center of all tourism activity. The beach is beautiful, but the main attractions unlike other areas is not the beach, but what lies beyond, the extensive tropical lowland rainforests and the untouched nature and beauty of Osa Peninsula and Corcovado.
