Cariari

Hotel Cariari is located in the outskirts of San Jose, halfway between the Juan Santamaria International Airport and the city of San José. The hotel has been an emblem since the 80s, a period during which it was one if not the most luxurious hotel in the country. It is indeed an older hotel, but only in years, since it has been constantly renovated and therefore currently remains one of the Central Valley's best hotels. The location is unique and privileged, as it is located amidst the evergreen property owned by Club Cariari, with its 18 holes golf course and extensive gardens full of trees and grasslands. Cariari offers visitors an elegant atmosphere, yet cozy and somewhat casual. It has a main restaurant, Las Tejas, which is next to the hotel pool. There is a bar, cafe and additionally there are several options for light or fast food taste Bar Chapuzon, Bar Chiriqui or the Deck Café. If you need a meeting room, the hotel offers several rooms for large events as well as business meetings or more intimate and small meetings. Additionally, the hotel features crafts and gifts shop, beauty salon, lounge at reception as well as tourist information center. As for the rooms, Hotel Cariari offers regular Guest Rooms, Business Rooms (in case you are traveling more in business trip) and Suites, which are subdivided into either two bedrooms or a bedroom and a living room, perfect for business trips. Whatever the unit, all are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, large bathroom, ironing board and hair dryer, safe and mini bar, large closet, a tub shower and coffee maker.
