Mawamba Lodge
Mawamba Lodge is located in Tortuguero, one of only three hotels that are actually located both on the ocean ( Caribbean ) and on the main Tortuguero Lagoon. Surrounded by tropical forests and evergreen botanical gardens, Mawamba Lodge comes with a large swimming pool, for adults and children, a large restaurant, a bar, self guided trails and a butterfly garden. The rooms at Mawamba Lodge are standard rooms, with all the necessary facilities and amenities to make your stay in Tortuguero a pleasant one. All the package we offer in Tortuguero inclu8de tours and all the meals, even the transportation from San Jose or other areas ( With an extra fee, we can transfer you from Arenal, SARAPIQUI, Puerto Viejo, Cahuita or other areas directly to the meeting point where you hop on the boats ( main docks for Tortuguero departures ). We have been working with Mawamba Lodge for many years, an along with other two lodges, it is definitely our first option.
