Tenorio Volcano

The Tenorio Volcano is part of the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain Range, which includes Rincon de la Vieja, Tenorio, Orosi and Miravalles. It is protected under the National Park law, and its rainforests are inhabited by hundreds of species of animals and plants. Near the Volcano is the Rio Celeste River, a fabulous Light Blue Colored river which attracts hundreds of eco tourists and scientists alike. Few hotels are in the area. But one can organize either lodging in the area of visit the area in a one day tour we offer from La Fortuna. The area of the Volcano and National Park and the Rio Celeste are basically one single tourist destination. In the area, the tourist can go horseback riding, hiking, walking, go birding and much more.
