Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfalls and Coffee Tour
This is one of the most popular tours departing from San Jose. First, you will visit the Poas Volcano, an active volcano where you can get close to the main crater, one of the widest in the world. After, you will be able to hike to the former crater and currently Poas Volcano crater lagoon. After, the visit continuous to the La Paz Waterfall, amidst the tropical rainforest of the volcano slopes. The second half of the tour will take you to the largest coffee farm in the area, Doka Estate. You will learn and explore the entire coffee process, from the plantation to the drying and the grinding. Lunch also included.
