Turrialba

Turrialba is a region best known for its great rafting adventures. The Pacuare River is best accessed through Turrialba. The adventure includes one day tours and overnight packages exiting the river in the region near Siquirres, down in the Caribbean lowlands. Other rivers are Reventazon, Pascua and Peralta section. This destination is also famous for its highly active volcano, the Volcano, for the adventure tours, like Canyoning and rappelling and much more. Coffee plantations, educational tours and agro tourism are other reason why tourists visit this pretty region.
